A Front Booth Make-Over!

I know, I know....It is about time that I re-did the front booth!  Where does the time go????  Just wanted to share a few quick pictures of the front booth make-over.  They were closing and turning out the lights and I did not have time to run to the car and get my camera....so here are some not so great (quick) shots taken with my phone.  I am particularly in love with the hotel maids cart and the bow ties.  I bought these bow ties a while back and struggled with the best way to display.  So I went on E-bay and bought some old starched colors to put them on.  Still could not figure a cool way to show them off....until I stumbled upon this old store fixture (I think it was for bags of chips).  Now I think they show off perfect!  It was fun playing in the booths...I have not done this in a while.

  2. Hey Denis!
Love your booth...just wondering how much the vintage dress form is?? Our daughter has signed up with a soccer team there in Fort Worth, and we drove right by Lonestar last weekend!! I may be able to visit more often now :)
My youngest daughter is dying to have a dress form...let me know, I'd love to get her one for her birthday.
Thanks, and Happy 4th of July!!

  4. I love your style and I'm in love with whatever is covering the walls - the tan with black swirl design...is it wallpaper, fabric, or just like a wrapping paper? It is awesome! Would love to come visit your spaces one day!

I was devastated when my mother died of cancer in 1980. I can only imagine these chidren having to go thru such pain. Keep up the good work!!

  8. Ruby your bow ties collection is good. But I think you can have better stand to keep them.
