Wedding Time at Ruby Grace's...

On our Round Top trip this spring, I found these WONDERFUL old iron stair railings!  They are from an old school house in St. Louis.  I fell in love and loaded them up.  Of course, when I got home, I started to wonder how exactly I was going to display them.  So I dropped them off at Mom and Dad's house and ask Dad to work some magic and build some wooden steps that look like cement....and viola!  It apparently was not without some hard work and innovation...thanks Dad!  I  decided to do a setting that looked like it was outside a brownstone house in New York and had it all envisioned in my head.  The day before we were going to re-do the booth...my head changed its mind and it turned into a wedding setting!  Oh Well...I love the stairs and it was fun to do!

  2. Too bad you are in Texas and I am in California because I saw a lot of things I would love to buy. But, I have to tell you, I tend to avoid chain stores so that I support Mom & Pop businesses.f I guess I could make an exception.

  3. These are awesome pictures and pleased to know about such a beautiful venue. I am in pursuit of finding lovely Chicago wedding venues for arranging my nephew’s wedding next month. Hope to book a perfect venue and arrange everything as plan.
