From Blue and White to White, Gold & Brown!

I took 2 loads to Lone Star yesterday for a LONG OVERDUE booth sprucing. However after working all day, I could only fit one load in the booth. Today I went back and picked up all the stuff I could not fit in...whew! I guess I subconsciously have a theme in my head when I shop...because I had no idea I had some much white, gold and brown. I had a wonderful rust colored iron bed that was going to be at the center of the booth with splashes of blue around it. When the bed sold before I could get it off the cart (thanks Lydia), the entire theme changed and the blue came back home. The white suitcase set (which has a wonderful soft purple silk lining) was intended for one of our other booths. I was going to open them and have really pretty stuff laying in and around. When the white/gold/brown theme started to unfold, they became a part of the new look. I also LOVE the gold dress with orange flowers. Don't you know some lady was dolled up for a wonderful party in that dress. Well, one booth down and 2 to go! It is always fun at the mall. We have the best dealers and spend as much time talking and laughing as we do working on our booths. Have a great week everyone...stay warm!

  1. Wow! I have a booth/shop too! You've been busy! I can only dream of the day when I have to bring a load of goodies home because I couldn't fit them in my booth! That's my downfall, it takes me so long to price everything...........Great job!!! Oh, and it looks wonderful! I wish I lived closer! Linda

  3. Denis, it all looks just lovely. Love the new redo and colors. I'd love to be able to get up your way more often, I know I'd spend tons. I'll be at the Red Barn in Round Top next week, I don't guess you'll be coming that way by chance? Stay warm and have a great Friday!!

  4. Love it! You, Ms Bountiful and Ms Tiina are the reason I wonder out of my area to Fort Worth for the first time. I was not dissapointed, in my opinion Lonestar is one of the best malls I have ever visited. Actually I found so many more vendors I fell in love with. I thought if a lived in FW I will be part of the magic happening there. Hopefully will be visiting soon. I also love your postcardbeautifulhome. You seem to be quite a host. I bet your parties are something to talk about. Take care, I'm a fellow Texan and I love the blogging community. I just open a blog, hhtp://craftymarta-fortheloveofjunk.blogspot.com. Blessings, Marta.

  8. Looks like 'YouBeenFramed', Denis. I so want that gold dress for my maniquin which now is dressed in drab muslin. She definately needs a New-Old Gown! Your booth looks 'Mavelous' and you'll probably have to be takin back that second load pretty quick. Lots of great stuff! Stop by and get a load of my In With the New..Out With the Really Ratty Old! I'm bettin you will Relate!
