The entry way. Got a candle out...ugh! |
This hall tree belonged to a friend's Grandmother and she did not know what to do with it...so it is on loan to me. I love it...thanks Teresa! |
This is my home office (right off the entry way). We set up a table for 4 in there. They ended up pulling in two more chairs and sitting 6 in here. |
Since the dining room is on the other side of the entry way, we decided to keep the Harvest theme at this table also. I love the old Brown dishes that my mother had collected my ENTIRE life. |
I have several pieces of original art that friends have done in this room...I love it! |
I love the splash of red that the poinsettias bring! The picture next to it is one I found at a flea market. The seller knew nothing about her, but said she must have been someone of influence as they typically did not do pictures/portraits of African Americans back then. I named her Calpernia....I think she was a nurse. |
Old creamy clocks! |
A little fake fire to set the mood! |
This is where all the work gets done...well, some work! |
My friends from high school always sit in here! You can hear them laughing all over the house! |
Next update will be from the Den.
Thanks for sharing your pictures, your home looks very inviting and cozy. I bet you had alot of fun with your high school friends!
